Bottle, 8%. Yeasty aroma. Dark orange colour, plenty of small floaties. Very small white head. Flavour is very malty with a good flavour hop. A little sweet and fruity, and very spicy. Good spicy finish, with a little alcohol to enhance it.

(33 cl bottle at Café 3 Små Rum, Göteborg) On February 27, 2008. Clear pale yellow color, fluffy white head. Spicy yeasty but still fresh scent. Strong spicy and some alcohol taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Spicy aftertaste.

33 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours slight hazy orange with a lacing white head. Yeasty towards mouldy aroma, light acidic ote. Flavour is sweet at first and has in addition a light metallic note, goes yeasty and with a solid spice note into the malt base. Finish is light metallic and malty, only little bitterness.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of DerDoppelbock) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big blond foamy head. Sweet grainy and slightly sour fruity (citrus, grapes, passion-fruit) aroma with a moderate yeast-character and a light tinge of hops in the background. Sweet flavour, cara-malty and fruity taste with early alcoholic notes; medium to full bodied with a well-matured carbonation; finishes rather slim with fruity notes and alcohol. Smells promising but does not perform in an adequate way.

33cl bottle from Deca. Cloudy gold colour with huge off white head. Yeasty golden Beglian beer. Cereal aroma. Decent citrusy Belgian strong beer. Rather nice. Tiny bit of herb and some creaminess.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is honey and very fruitish. Flavour is honey, yeast, malts, citrus fruits and a bit wooden. Hides alcohol well.

Bottled. Hazy orange, small steady white head. Woody-grassy nose. Woody, fruity (apricot, peach), mainly dry. You can’t notice high ABV here.

[Vintage sample - aged about 2 years, and just before expiry of the best before date] An orange beer with a lot of sediment floating around under a dense off-white head. The aroma is very sweet with strong fruity notes especially peaches comes to mind, but also a light tendency towards over ripe fruits and coriander. The flavor is also very sweet with powerful notes of peaches, over ripe fruits, prunes, wood, alcohol, and tobacco. The alcohol burns slightly on the tongue and a bit more in the throat. The tobacco note in the flavor turns me a bit away from this beer, I wonder if this is a result from my bottle being aged more than 2 years.

(Bottle 33 cl) 7% ABV in my version. Hazy, amber coloured with a huge and lovely head. Some spicy, citric notes in a rather light body with a very pronounced, agressive hop-bite in the finish. 290798
