Schramm’s Raspberry is a mead made from whole Michigan raspberries. The flavor is unmistakably fruity raspberry, reminiscent of Michigan summers, and is balanced by honey sweetness. Due to the high level of acidity from the berries, it can age gracefully for many years. A tribute to our home state’s strong fruit growing tradition, this was the first mead made by head meadmaker Ken Schramm. It holds a special place in our history as well as our cellar. This melomel pairs well with grilled Great Lakes salmon, salads, cheesecake, and summer evening bonfires by the lake.

Flaska från Kihoskh webshop. Tjusigt mörk rödlila. Snygg nötig honungston, hallon, snygg syltighet, körsbär, drottningsylt, björnbär, bärskal. Elegant och supergott som alltid.

Bottle. Pours dark red. Aroma and flavor are sweet, sour, raspberries, honey, some bitterness. Overall: very good.

Bottle. Purple color with no head. Super raspberry, vine, tannins. Taste is super raspberry, herbs, tannins. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Oh yeah, this is fantastic!

Bottle. Nose is raspberry, strawberry, currant, it's like falling into a berry field. Taste is super jammy, raspberry, not as super easy going in the middle, but quite smooth in the end. That tiny sting in the middle stops it from getting a near perfect score. (2 years layer) This bad boy has gotten even smoother. I would go as far as 4.6 now

Bottle, thank you Gregg! Beautiful pink pour, no carbonation but otherwise clear. Nose is full on raspberry character, light honey and does not feel sticky or too sweet. Just the right balance. Taste has also lots of raspberry, sweet but not syrupy. Very well balanced, warming but not boozy. Huu-uge raspberry. Loving this, could be the best mead I have had till now.

Bottle: Poured a pink and white bubbles. Aroma is nice raspberry. Taste is strong berry almost seeds as well.

Bottle at home ...thanks Ben ... deep red ... no head ...rich oily raspberry ..light sweet honey ... but rich deep raspberry ... Heavy honey ... soft fruit ... big big raspberry ... tiny tartness from the fruit ... but mostly the honey and Raspberry.. big raspberry jam but a little bitterness in finish

At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of syrup, raisin, raspberry and sugar. Taste has sugary syrup, raspberry, soft tart and ripe fruit. This is actually quite nice.
