A dark combination of malt and roast with true hop character. Strongly flavored and well balanced, real stout, bottle conditioned for a fuller flavour.

Dark brown beer with a huge tan-cream head. Salty, mineral nose with roast and rainwater. Bitterish-roasted, sweet, meatgravy, liquorice. Very carboanted, huge saturation and quite slick, rainwater quality in the feel too. Would be excellent with meat.

Bottle from Metro wines, Leicester. Black colour with a foamy cream coloured head. Roasted malty aroma taste is dry, as the name suggests.
