Draught Huge dense, fine yellowish head with textbook alce over (cold)hazed amber beer. Very "beery" nose, coloured malts, wild-ish hops, maltsyrup (but not indicating sweetness). Dry bitterish-sweetish taste, hint at pine resin; bit wry but nowhere unpleasantly so. Warming up, acquires quickly an almondy flavour. Medium bodied, quite slick. Pretty good. Not one to quaff, but not a sipping beer either, going down very well for its ABV. 7/4/7/4/14
