On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast, pine, bread. Medium body, roast, cocoa, resin bitter finish, very good.

Good light-beige head over reddish, near-black beer. Dark malts, melanoidins, aromatic hops. Very dry, husky. Some dry, dark malts. Medium bodied, very slick. Nice, if certainly not stellar black IPA.

On tap at Flix Brewhouse. Very dark mahogany with a small lingering tan head. Nose is citrus and pine with a big helping of espresso and roasted nuts. Very bitter with dark chocolate and coffee contributing as much as pine and grapefruit. Medium- slick mouth with soft carbonation and a long bitter finish. Decent.
