30-08-17 // cask, handpulled, at the brewery, Dingle Peninsula, Ireland. Maron Brown beer, small beige creamy head. Taste of mild roasted malts with a subtle bitterness. Cask Frothy light cream-coloured head over clear foxy chestnut beer. Sweet apples, left-over orchard ones, and quite a bit of solvent. Sweetish taste with a bitter finish, bit like bitter almonds or apple kernels. Light body, bit velvety MF. Not bad, if a tad too sweet to my taste.
