The whiskey porter matures in bourbon whiskey barrels, so the coffee and roasted aromas combine with vanilla, whiskey and subtle smoky and woody notes. Its taste is a very complex, slim but well balanced beer.

Toweringly high beige-tan head over brown to black beer. Roasted/burnt, sweet syrup, coloured malts. Perfumed (dates?), even soapy, but very nice aroma. Only hints at whisk(e)y in the nose. Dry - faintly sweetish. Clear roasted, or even BBQ-like flavours, chocolate, but sweet. Retronasal smoked whisky, phenolic. Quite slick, very well-bodied for its discreet ABV. Aftertaste underlines both the whisky as the burnt flavours. Quite good in its style. Light porter, but very convincing. Another good Südtiroler, Hans B! Txs!
