On tap at Haymarket. Pours a clear deep amber red with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some light flora notes with backing sweet grain and a bit of Belgian yeast/spices. Flavor begins with sweet grains and caramel but is joined by sweet grains, flora, Belgian spices and yeast. A bit muddled.

Very good composite yellow-cream head, fast goen over very carbonated, clear red-chestnut beer. Estery, hot-aromatic nose; rainwater small. Grapes or raisins, bit sweet. Thin, and yet bit cloying, somewhat caramel-estery flavour. Some citrus notes, not hoppy. Marzipan-retronasal. Not really well-bodied, thinnish finish. Not undeserving, but it is equally bit lame. Good point: very drinkable for an 8 % beer.
