The first beer we developed was called Keikoppenbier, referring to the nickname of the inhabitants of Poperinge. We brewed this beer for the first time on November 9, 2011. The very first brew in our own brewery!
In our first beer we wanted you to be able to taste our story so three varieties of hops are used. The combination of these hops gives the beer a distinctive hop aroma and provides a good balance with the used malts.

Bottle at CASPAR, Arnhem. Aroma of fruits, grass, herbal notes, hay, leaves, hoppy notes. Flavour is above moderate bitter with a dry finish. Body is medium. Pleasant grassy herbal-ish hoppy Belgian Ale.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Quite strong vanilla flavour. Gold colour. Mature boozy finish. Decent but nothing exciting.

Gyllen brun farge med masse hvitt skum. Ser veldig bra ut. Lukter typisk belgisk gjær, korn, banan. Fruktig I smak. Citrus, humle og noe krydret i smak.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, white head. Sweet, fruity nose mixed with spicy, European hops. Medium body, fruity, yeasty but also phenollic and moldy. Fairly brutal, finishing bitterness. Starts off well.... 060422

Blond colour with slight haze from the yeast. Not super intense but certainly a very well balanced beer with floral, green fresh hop elements backing up a decent malty blond.

Ljust bronsfärgad med lite dis. Tjockt skum. Belgiskt jästdoftande med ton av päron. Torr och jästig smak med ton av gräs och päron. Smakar som en mera karaktärsfylld Leffe Blond.
