Süßer Gewürzgeruch mit minimaler Essignote, hopfig sowie leicht zitronig. Dumpfer und säuerlicher Antrunk mit erkennbarer Essignote. Im Mittelteil herberkräuterartig und citrus-säuerlich. Die Säuerlichkeit nimmt hierbei zu, bleibt aber in angenehmem Rahmen. Gewürzig-dumpf und malzig-herb im Abgang, kurz alkoholisch und knackig bitter. Im Sommer ist das Bier bestimmt empfehlenswerter als im Winter! 10/10/9/10/6/10

Medium dense, just off-white head; yellow beer with greenish haze. Again the chlorine nose, but this time I somehow connect it to the hops. Grassy, garden herbs. Citrussy, lemony, phenolic to an enormous extent. It remembers me completely of the yellow plastic lemonjuice concentrate bottles, that are supposed to be an alternative to pressing the fruit. My wife claims magnesium sulphate, but not knowing this, I have no opinion. We concluded that the end of the bottle was more interesting, the yeast giving off some creamy bitterness. Very refreshing, a bit aggressive MF. I wonder where I get the chlorine from - the Cascade? Unbelievable phenolic load (due to the Wyeast type, Danny admits).
