Fast disappearing, slightly pink head; dark-pink beer with a foxy shine. Lemon, obviously Brettanomyces, fruity, bit of lactic acid, just a bit of leather. Extreme Brett taste initially, going over into cherry wine. Very tart, but lemony aspect gone in the taste; hints of alcohol. Acidburn, dry-out effect, tart, apparent thin body by the acids & alcohol. Very strange brew. More specific Brett-character than any real lambic; and cherry flavour, however natural, seems added rather than blended. Rare & interesting, thanks to Mikkel for providing.

[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 7400] An unclear red beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet combined with acidic notes, as well as wood - very authentic lambic like. The flavor is again a combination of sweet and sour with notes of wood and hints of cherries. Imperial Lambic - nice.

Draught at Copenhagen Beerfestival 2006
Hazy red amber color. Cellar aroma. Very close to Belgian lambics, but softer. It has some fruitness.

On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Amber, almost clear, without carbonation, and some white bubbles on top. Sour and yeasty aroma with green apples. Quite citric and astringent flavor, with apples and barnyard. No cherries tasted. Tart and astringent mouthfeel, but surprisingly no alcohol, even though it is a bit warming. Not a classic, but an interesting experiment with a pleasant outcome. (060519)

(On tap) Hazy reddish amber with a tiny head. Distinct, sourish Brett aroma. Rather light body - I cannot believe this is 9.2% ABV. Sweet’n’sour with some almost vinous accents. Very pleasant, delicate and balanced. No trace of them cherries though. 190506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear reddish orange. Tart lactic nose. Very dry with near full body. Some barnyard and citric acid. Authentic lambic flavour, but not as complex as some of the real masterpieces.
