Bouteille from Auchan Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Slightly hazy deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of spices. Medium-bodied, malty base with Christmassy spices, shy herbal hoppy touch in the finish.

Bottle @ dad’s. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly floral, lightly some off-flavors that remind me of some fruitiness but not a very pleasant one. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Orange-yellow beer with fast disappearing, very dense white head. Very citrussy nose: lemon- & orangezeste, and tangerines, some fresh yeast, certain garden bushes, blossomy. Sweet, with a marked spicey presence. Lots of coloured/ambrée malts, the finish being again very citrussy (orange mainly), as well as hints of vanilla. Slightly burning MF, aftertaste is sticky-sweet; up to medium bodied. Very nice nose, rest is a bit "forced". Packaging and others lead Mark Struyf (BES) and myself to believe this might be straight from the Gauloise stable.
