Bomber from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours amber brown with a small dusting of a beige head. Aroma of honey, fall leaves, slight fruits. Flavor is nutty leaves, light fruitiness, a little citrusy but that’s quickly taken over by the roasted malt. Totally drinkable, but not out of this world.

Draught at Hops ’n Headz, Bellingham, WA, as Heirloom Amber Ale, 5.3% ABV
Golden color, medium sized head. Regular blond Ale, a bit sweetish, but with decent hop touch, although the final is a bit too mild.
Easy, not bad.

Sampler at the brewpub. Darker golden color, clear. Earthy musty hops on nose. British musty mold yeast character. Hops brighter on palate. I would prefer less mustiness and cleaner, brighter flavor.
