Draught, served way too cold Near black, but with ochre highlights; small beige head. Slight cigar ash smell, but in all very, very little nose. Scorched malts, very slight stout-like acidity, some dark malts (surprise), and retronasal some sweetness, unspecified, getting more obvious warming up. Medium bodied. Grist slickness. Liquorice flavour in the aftertaste. Temperature doesn’t do it no favours, but still, for a Marc Limet beer, this one is VERY subdued.
