Recent beer from Grain d’Orge with thin, cream white, stable head and deep reddish bronze colour. Sweet aroma of brown sugar, honey, port wine, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, dates, grass. Soft sweetish taste, subdued fruitiness, medium carbonation, slick and thin mouthfeel, light caramelly maltiness, badly hidden alcohol and insufficient hop bitterness in the finish.

Dark brown, specks; quite white head, smallish. Very restrained nose, some chocolate, dark malt, bit of alcohol, leafy. Sweet, bit of liquorice and caramel malts, precious little else. Thin watery, beer. All body seems to come from the sugar. This is a disgrace, especially at 5.9 Euro’s for 33cl!
