(Pretty aged sample) Red-orange, quite hazy beer; good yellowish-orange head. Nutty, woody, spicey smell, quite some malt. (Hazel)nutty taste again, bit of liqueur, sweet dark chocolate, and a bit of liquorice. Sharp, burning mouthfeel, but quite short. Medium to well bodied. In the aftertaste, there’s a bitter-burnt flavour, as from black breadcrusts. Very nicely aged beer - age did some good things to this, as I far prefer it to what I remember from the young, draught beer.

Amber strong ale, with a wonderful creamy head. Malt and hop aroma. Sweet, heavy body, strong malt flavour ans some alcoholic taste. Long final. Perfect brew!
