Tap at The Squire, Hamilton, ON, Canada. Pours elegant brown, medium transparent, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is intensely malty, caramel, almost up to molasses. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium sweet, a little unidimensional. Final is fairly long and malty.

Bouteille 341ml.

Smells like sugar water with caramelized malt, though the latter is on the downlow. Carbonation fades quickly to leave a flat honeyish kind of ilk that really isn’t that pleasant. Not a great beer. Tall can poured into a glass.

Sample from can at the Strange Brew Tasting on 02/18/2012. Ruby-brown pour with a medium light beige head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt, ripe fruit and caramel. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, fruit and a touch of earth. The finish is malty with a sweet aftertaste. Decent overall.

Small head and a copper-amber body. Heavy and simple malt aroma. Flavour is malt and tin with some chewy wafer notes. Tasty and simple, not necessarily a bad thing.

Creemore Springs’ urBock poured a dark copper-red colour with a thick and creamy tanned head. It was slow to dissipate and left a sticky lace. The nose was very malty, with slight alcohol and spicy hops. The taste was quite sweet, like cherries and toffee. There was lots going on. I also tasted many fruits. This brew was medium in body, with a smooth mouthfeel and slow carbonation. I really like this beer from time to time, but I always go back to their original lager... one of my favorite session beer (before Molson bought Creemore - original review December 2004).

(bottle) dark amber colour with small, quickly disappearing tan head; aroma of malts with hint of bubble gum; lightly bitter, quite simple flavour, bit metallic, no finish to speak of, not bad, just mediocre

Full, fluffy tan head. Brownish-red colour. Aromas of malt are lacking. But fair malt flavour on the palate. Full mouthfeel with some tinglyness on the finish. Overall mediocre. This was not terribly complex.

On tap at the Manx. Red copper wiht light off white head. Caramel aroma with a whiff of vanilla, and a light smokyness. Sweet malt , light fruitiness, oily mouthfeel, with a nutty bitterness in finale.
