Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate and roasted malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Opaque nearly black color, full sized beige head. Aroma is malts, coffee, roasty. Flavor is similar: malts, roasty, coffee roast, coffee, bitter, malt bitter, chocolate with a slight sweetness underneath the firm coffee and malty roasty bitters. Medium to full body and carbonation. Solid to good. 7-4-7-4-14.

Bottle at craft beer revolution. Pours deep ruby, nose is sugary, coffee, chocolate, roasted, taste is similar, light liquorice, bitter.
