A straight dry mead. Made with honey from Samsoe. The bees have visited blooming hokkaido plants.

A word from the sommelier:

Tør Gylden Mjød 2017 is a clear mead with a medium color intencity and a nuance like light lemon. The aroma is pure and the intencity medium. The development of the aroma is primary and secondary towards lactic, fruity and floral – with heavy notes of butter, banana, peach, cream, vanilla, coconut and pineapple.

The taste is dy with a medium plus acidity and light tannins. The body is medium and that goes for the flavor intencity too. In taste flavors of lemon, butterscotch, coffee, and white pepper. It goes well with th alcohol that's medium and so is the after taste. There are small hints of sherry which will be enhanced over the years.
