330ml bottle from Mitchell’s Wines, Meadowhead - Hazy straw body, rocky white top. Nose is a nice bready yeast, reminiscent of some decent Belgium triples, taste is nice and dry with the hops coming through nicely. Refreshingly light for the ABV.

Surprenants ar?mes conf?r?s par le houblon Sorachi Ace. Premi?re pour ma part, et si cette d?gustation fut int?ressante ? ce titre, mon go?t personnel ne me fait pas me tortiller sur celui-ci. Cette Brooklyn Sorachi Ace est cependant plut?t bien construite sur une intensit? aromatique int?ressante. Le classement en saison n’est cependant pas tout ? fait l?gitime selon moi. En verre, nous sommes sur une joli blond dor? (EBC aux environs de 20) avec une mousse cependant quasi absente. Le nez est une belle entr?e en mati?re sur le Sorach Ace avec des ar?mes difficile ? d?finir totalement tant ceux ci sont sp?cifiques. Ceux qui me viennent le plus naturellement sont marmelade d’orange, herbac?, citron et ananas. La structure de la bi?re est ensuite bien ma?tris?e avec toutefois un sucre que je trouve sur la limite haute. L’attaque est sur une texture suave, avec un bon ?quilibre malt/houblon et des ar?mes d’orange, d’ananas, de citron, le tout l?g?rement ?pic?. La deuxi?me bouche est plus fra?che, sur la marmelade d’orange, le caramel et les ?pices. L’arri?re bouche quant ? elle marque une amertume plus tranch?e sur les ?pices et les agrumes. La troisi?me bouche voit l’amertume monter en intensit? (tout en restant mod?r?e) sur des notes citronn?es avant un final, moyennement long, avec des ar?mes de marmelade d’orange, d’ananas et herbac?es. ?a se tient. A d?couvrir.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of hop, caramel, fruit, malt and slightly herbal. Has a creamy medium sweetness and medium plus bitterness with just a hint of sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Distinct Sorachi Ace with a finish that is creamy bittersweet. Nice!

355 ml bottle at 7.2% ABV, on May 21, 2017. BB 17/08/17.Hazy pale golden color, fairly big but rather bubble white head. Light phenolic, spicy, minty, doughy, yeasty, sweet, malty scent. Spicy, yeasty, pheolic, dry, bitter, minty, dill taste. Malty, minty, yeasty aftertaste. Smooth soft low CO2 mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Mineral presence

Yellow beer, decent white head. Light, floral citrus aroma. Taste is sweet lemon, some bitter hop, a bit of herby, pepperyness. Distinctive and tasty, despite there being a fair whack of coconut which normally I don’t like. it works here though.

Flesje gedronken tijdens weekje Texel. Goudgeel, licht troebel bier met matig schuim. Complexe geur van o.a. kruiden, hop, gist en sinaasappelschil. Smaak is fruitig en hoppig. Nasmaak is bitter.

Delicious Saison, fruity and herbal without growing overly sweet. Nice clove-spice graininess transitions to a mild lemony middle, while the back end stays thankfully dry, the hops adding a floral bitterness that melds nicely with the bright grassy Saison front. Not what I anticipated (thought it was an IPA), but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.
