Can shared by dEnk at De Molen. Pale yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, nicely hoppy, not much brut so I like it. Decent body, soft smooth body. Solid. 8-3-8-3-17

On tap at Kings Beer & Wine. Golden with a small white head. Mild with hops, citrus, light malt and some grass. The finish was dry.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 5/4/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red apple, mango, melon, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red apple, mango, melon, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, red apple, mango, melon, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly resinous/rindy balance mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.75%. Overall this is an excellent brut IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Feels like Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, Simcoe. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a solid pale malt backbone. No residual sweetness from crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
