Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Cacao Nibs and Coffee

Mocha Wednesday is the perfect follow-up to Black Tuesday. Layers of artisan dark chocolate and bold coffee collide (especially when consumed fresh) thanks to cacao nibs from San Francisco's TCHO and freshly roasted coffee from Mostra Coffee.

Bottle @ Bruery Bonanza 2017. Coffee, cocoa nibs & plenty of booze in the nose. Sweet, bitter, malty & tiny fruity taste. Round, tiny syrupy & boozy mouth. Off nose with all mediocre coffee & booze but it tastes great.

Keg at Ratebeer Best Beer Festival. 31/01/2016. a dark caramel brown colured pour with reddy hues, no head. Aroma is nice raw coffee bean, big fresh brewed coffee, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of big sweet layered malts, coffee bean, sugars, caraeml and maple. Palate is full and sticky sweet, moderate carbonation. good. nice coffee character.

A deep inky black with a hugely savory soy, heat, cocoa nibs, coffee and sweet bourbon barrel character. Full bodied and sandpapery carbonation the taste is sweet oaky mesquite coffee and maple - slick but damn delicious.
