22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/5/2017. Pours lightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, apricot, pear, pineapple, red/green apple, mango, melon, papaya, citrus zest, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of hay, grass, leather, wood, musty/lacto funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic/light funky yeast and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, apricot, pear, pineapple, red/green apple, mango, melon, papaya, citrus zest, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of hay, grass, leather, wood, musty/lacto funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, peach, apricot, pear, pineapple, red/green apple, mango, melon, papaya, citrus zest, wheat, cracker, white bread, hay, grass, light funk/pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic/light funky yeast and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an awesome Berliner weisse! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic/light funky yeast and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Not overly lactic, with nice fruity yeast complexity and balanced malts. A bit unique for this one; definitely a bit of Brett going on, but it's not overpowering. A really enjoyable offering and spot on style example; even with the higher ABV.

Pretty good Berliner weisse Style Beer although not overly traditional. Which makes it a little bit more drinkable on the other hand generally I like more traditional beers. This one is a little softer iTouch sweeter and more rounded. Also a little stronger alcohol. I tried it at first straight in the second glass I added a little bit of locally crafted organic raspberry syrup. The syrup wasn't that good and so the beer was just not that much better with it.

22 oz bottle poured, with much thanks to Tcon for the share. Glad this barely survived the long trip back to the Pacific Northwest. A very tart Berliner here. Hazy golden pour with a thin, fading head. Sour preach and wheat aroma. Flavor is wheat forward, but an above average sour note throughout, making this more interesting to me than the usual example in the style. Slight apple. A unique Berliner. Something about this seperate out from the rest, but can’t quit identify it. Very nice imperial Berliner Weisse here

Sample at MBCC, 2017, Blue session. Poured a hazy straw colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, citrus fruit. The flavour is light sweet with a yeasty, watery crisp acidic citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

0.75l bottle @ Mikkeller Bar shared with my girlfriend. A rapidly fading head on this. Didn't quite catch the color of it before it went away, but the beer itself is crystal clear and really golden. At least at first. Smells nice. Sorrel, white currants, hay, grains, cornflakes and white wine. Honey also present on the nose, as is hints of something spicy. Nice. Tastes pretty nice also this. White currants and lots of brett here. Mild wood, lots of green sour unripe goodeberries and even a little peach. It's surprisingly fruity this. Thin oily in the mouth and comfortably carbonated. Nice! 01.02.2015
