Draft @ SF Beer Week Opening Gala 2017. Pours a dark brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty ginger aroma. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty weak berry flavor with hints of ginger. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty ginger finish.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours black, little foam. Aroma is black currant and coffee, dark fruit Medium body, low but lovely carbonation, stocky and oily sweetness. Late ginger spiciness. Sweet black currant palate, a bit too sweet. OK.
