Drank one of these at a WeWork in Chicago, it's the first time I've had this in at least 10 years. Pretty straight forward, finishes dry without much malt. Not bad, would have again.

Big can, 19oz maybe, pours a crystal clear gold with some soapy white head. Nose has straw, grass, grist, cracker. Flavor is very true, yeast, grist, some corn, a green note like scallion maybe, grass, lemon rind. Finishes dry, a touch tannic. Super easy drinker.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear bright gold with a large foamy/frothy white head. Saaz grassy aroma. Med body. Flavor is quite clean; pale malt with a fair amount of Saaz grassiness. Dry. Decently bitter. Not a Pilsner Urquel, but then why should it be?

On tap pours out a pale straw color topped with a white head. Nose is nice grain corn husk and some grass. Taste is more of the nice sweet grain husk and a smooth end.

[12oz bottle from an Albertson's supermarket, Fullerton, CA.] A pale straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; nice grassy noble hop aroma; fresh grassy bitterness with a sweet grainy body with a trace of honey. Very refreshing and true to style. A good find.

I got this in a trade with tayner. Thanks Dana!

It pours a hazy straw gold with a 1 finger head of foam.

The smell has a very assertive and nice mix of citrus hops & bready malt with some floral notes added in and I'm liking the nose a lot! No doubt about it, this is a German Pilsener and I can't wait to take a sip..

Mmmmm...I was hoping that after enjoying the smell so much, the taste wouldn't fall short of my expectations and it surely doesn't! The hoppy goodness, both lemon and floral, and the bready malt are really hitting some high spots on my palate. Oodles and oodles of flavour reward me after every sip but...the sips are coming way too fast! Alarm, alarm! Slow down!

Seriously, this is one hell of a rep for the style; Nice looking in the glass,(yep, some lacing and very good head retention) most inviting nose, great taste, lightish mouthfeel with lively but perfectly matched carbonation, pleasingly dry finish, awesome drinkability.

The sad news is, my glass is empty. The good news is, I have 2...more...bottles! How the heck did tayner know that I'd flip a lid over this one?? Thanks again, Dana.

Tap during the Super Bowl. Pours clear golden. Aroma is buttery pale malts with a hint of metal. Body is lightish, sweetish and also lightly bitter. Malty, but in a not so tasty way. Sweet palate, not quite a pilsener in that way. Okay for the game, but no beauty.

Draft at SFO, 3/21/16. Clear yellowish pour with a white head. Crisp, clean aroma of grass, pale malt / bread, and a pepper. Solid overall flavor profile as well. Somewhat over carbonated, but otherwise a pretty crisp mouthfeel. Solid and drinkable.
