Tap at Linde Oberstrass. Pours dark brown with a big stable light beige head. Aroma of a little roasted malts, mostly liquorice, some toasted malts and caramel - and also spices (cinnamon mostly), but only later as the beer warms up. Body is light, caramel again, some liquorice but less, low bitterness and a smooth carbonation. A bit watery, but it fits the beer well. Great drinkability without getting all too boring, even if the beer isn’t totally exciting.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours orange, small head. Spiced aroma. Sweet flavoured, bitter and toasted malty. Bitter and dry finish.

On draught at the brewpub. This brew is a clear amber-red color with a medium foamy off-white head that recedes slowly to a film. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is sweetly spiced with notes of graham cracker and ginger along with malt. Medium body with flavors of ginger, cinnamon and more graham cracker. Toasty malt in the background. The finish is sweet spices with a touch of hops in the aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Würziger Antrunk mit Lebkuchengewürzen. Trocken, etwas herb, weniger getreidig als die anderen Biere der Brauerei. Wässrig, die Würzigkeit ist immerhin angenehm. Muss intensiver sein. 12/8/10/8//8

Wässriger Beginn, der durch die Lebkuchenaromen nicht besser wird. Wässrig, trocken, wenig malzig. Wässrig-würziges Finish, sehr trocken. Geht so. 10/9/10/10//10
