500ml bottle as Staffordshire IPA bought at a M&S store in Leeds. Clear, amber-brown in body colour. Fair amount of white head. Citrus and pale malty aroma. Caramel, plums and fresh fruits in flavour. Smooth bittersweet end. Nice enough (hotel room, 12.07.2012).

Rugged, decent looking ale with a deep bitterness that lingers. A nose as strong as smelling salts (nearly!).

Bottle as Marks & Spencer Staffordshire IPA. Pours light amber with a 3 finger foamy/creamy off-white head. Light citrus aroma. Flavor is lightly roast caramel with some floral and citrus hop. It’sa bit malty for my taste, but the hop is very helpful with that. Very good.
