Tasting at Salesforce, courtesy of Sergey, bottle #1903/2112, batch 6, 15% ABV, bourbon 8 months brandy 10 months, Dec 2018
Black colour, no head. Medium body, mild sweetness; cacao and chocolate flavour (and aroma), but there are signs of age, of oxidation, some tobacco; the alcohol is too boozy, but this may be a typical problem with brandy barrels. Not cohesive.

Poured from 500mL bottle (Dec 2018; batch 6; bottle #1903/2112; bottle lists 15% abv). Black with very minimal light beige head, tiny bit of sediment. Some decent barrel notes - picking up more brandy than bourbon, woody, slightly aggressive boozy, dark chocolate, still quite decent.

500ml (thx Brian S for the bottle and Tom B. for picking up and keeping it for all that long time during the pandemic) @ SalesForce. Vintage 2018. ABV 15%. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: chocolate, bourbon, dark fruits, some brandy and some fruity caramel. Taste: along the same lines, very barrel forward with a lot of brandy and bourbon barrels, moderately hot and boozy. Overall: a bit too boozy, but it's very good.

Bottle shared at Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Big fucking thanks to Mike Arquines for bringing this! Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, marshmallows, vanilla, gunpowder, burned wood, molasses, fudge, light alcohol, salt licorice. Taste is mellow as fuck, caramel, fudge, a salty almost umami-like side to it, sweet licorice, vanilla, light cocoa, coconut, light heat, dry woody notes. This beer is VERY special. So good.

Pours intensely black, small tanned head. Smell is full, roasty, boozy in a nice way, oaky, vanilla. Taste is full, strong roastyness, tad boozy, mild bourbon-fused vanilla oakyness. Thick, chewy body with low average Carbo. Nice !
Bourbon, maple, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa nibs. Intense, rich, great. 4.6

Bottle [from trade with mista, thanks!] @ home. Last beer of 2017 to finish on 16861. Opaque pitch black color, small to average sized dark broen colored head that disappears almost instantly. Aroma hits me from a mile away: insane, huge dark chocolate and huge heavy bourbon aroma. Taste malts, roasted malts, bourbon, brandy / apple brandy, alcohol quite heavily, dark chocolate less dominant but still noticeably there and definitely some vanilla as well. Heavy beer, thinner body than you'd expect up front but with the heavy barrel aging the beers has undergone I guess it's not that surprising after all, carbonation is medium. Good beer, lovely beer, but you gotta like heavy barrel aging or you're gonna hate this one. I like it, but it's too heavy to really love imo. 9-4-8-4-15.

355 ml bottle at home, v2015, 13.5% ABV, bottle 1036/1404. Black color with small brown bubbly head that quickly disappears. Malty aroma, roasted, too much alcohol in the beginning but after some time this faints, chocolate, caramel, licorice, vanilla, some dark dried fruits, wood, alcohol again. Sweet and light bitter taste, alcoholic like aroma. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.
