Bottle. Orange copper color, small head. Aroma of hop, pine and malt. Taste is very bitter hop forward, with notes of pine, grapefruit and quite malty. High abv and unfortunately that’s noticeable in the taste.

From a 330ml bottle on 15/10/2014. Pours a cloudy apricot with virtually no head. The nose features caramel, fruit and honey but is perhaps more malty than hoppy. Sweet stone fruit (peach, apricot) and brown sugar dominates in the mouth, but there’s also a good dose of caramel malt, along with a firm, resiny, slightly tart, lingering bitterness which features just a touch of grapefruit and lemon. Has a syrupy palate and moderate carbonation. This is an unusual and very interesting brew. It’s big and bold but far from a typical imperial IPA. Lovely.

Pours copper with a small, dense head.Nose shows loads of sweet rich caramel malt with some resinous and piny hops underneath.Intense flavours. A lot more malt but the hops are more prominent overall. Big piny notes alongside a whack of hot alcohol.

Bottle from Bottledog, Kings Cross. Hazy, copper colour. Filmy, but bubbly, persistent, white head. Fruit salad sweets. Caramel. Ripe mandarin. Taste is thick, overripe, banana sweet. Oily, slick, greasy palate. Aided and abetted by a fine, slow moving carbonation. Long, greasy, pine toilet block, bitter finish. Big beer, this. Tasty. Rough as you like. Delicious.

33 cl. bottle @ my parents home, shared with my dad. Murky orange/amber with virtually no head at all. Aroma of citrus, mainly grapefruit, and some pineapple. Taste is not as bitter as expected given the fact this is a TIPA. The alcohol is very well concealed, making this TIPA taste and feel like a ’regular’ IPA. Good beer but not very special.
