Een IPA is lekker, een Dubbel IPA is nog beter maar voor sommige kan het niet bitter genoeg zijn dus hier is hij dan de Triple IPA. Alles in de overtreffende trap. Meer mout, meer hop en dus veel meer smaak. Hier moet je wel even voor gaan zitten maar wat een sensatie, dit zal je bij blijven.

33 cl. bottle @ my parents home, shared with my dad. Murky orange/amber with virtually no head at all. Aroma of citrus, mainly grapefruit, and some pineapple. Taste is not as bitter as expected given the fact this is a TIPA. The alcohol is very well concealed, making this TIPA taste and feel like a ’regular’ IPA. Good beer but not very special.

SAQ private import. Pours a cloudy deep amber colour with a nice frothy warm cap, good retention and some great thick creamy lacing. The nose is hoppy, but with lots of fruity-nutty notes, and caramel malts blending things. Medium-bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Quite smooth for a 10% ABV and the taste is pretty mild. Mild bitterness that gets a little stronger in the finish. From citrus fruits and nuts to grass and the zest of the citrus. Goes down too smoothly and pretty well-balanced overall.

Bottle. Pours hazy rich amber with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of hops, citrus and needles. Sweetish, malty flavour, with rich, bitter, hoppy notes and touches of grass. Lingering, rough and mildly citric aftertaste. Thick body. Discernible alcohol presence. Well-balanced. Good. Really good.

Bottle. Cloudy amber beer with a strong lightly brown head. The aroma is lightly hopped with some maltiness. The flavour has maltiness and roasted'ness with a deeply hopped body and vinous finish. Overall a nice strongly hopped IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33 cl, thanks to Ingo! BB 06.14, Lot A. Sampled on November 25, 2013.Hazy to shady dark copper color, tan head. Sweet, malty, grainy, aclohol scent. Malty, caramel, bitter, hoppy taste. Sweet, caramel, bitter, resin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high to high bitterness with a dry finish.

Appearance: Cloudy amber color with a small off white head that ends up in a small layer.
Aroma: Malty, overripe fruity and hoppy.
Palate: Medium to full body. A bit sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Mild grapefruit hoppy, rich fruity and solid malty back.
Overall impression: Way to fruity. Compared with the rich bitterness it is a bit unbalanced.

Bottle at home bought from the brewery. Pour is haxed murky orange / red with a persistent off white head. Nose is predominently caramel malt and toffe line pine and resin. Some alcohol. Flavour has rye bread malts, some sweet caramel. Hops are resiny, assertive mellow bitter finish. Bitterness is held in check by the caramel sweetness. Full body, with small sticky resin. Hides the 10% pretty well. Pretty balanced for a TIPA. Could pass as an american barey wine +.
