The original Jessenhofke beer, which later became Jessenhofke Tripel and eventually Jessenhofke TRPL. Uses garlic.
Drink matig doch regelmatig.

Typical Belgian triple, well made, robust and very drinkable. Floral smell, with notes of elderflowers, honey, bread dough. Dry and bitter taste, refreshing.

Slightly hazy medium golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma is malty, light fruity, yeast, some caramel, bit cinnamon (I don’t smell the garlic). Taste is medium sweet and bitter, bit fruity and spicy, medium duration. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is mild sweetbitter, bit spicy, alcohol notes. Though refreshing a rather non-descript tripel.

Somehow I didn’t rate this one. Good thing I have a spare bottle in my beercupboard. Clear yellow with a medium sized white head. Smells malts, slightly sour, fresh. Tastes malts, fresh, slightly yeasty. Medium body, nice crisp carbo.

Bottle@ Eco-café, Borgerhout. Hazy golden colour, white foam. Disappears quickly. Lively carbonation. Malty with spicy notes. Light sweet, light bitter. Not very well balanced but ok.
