Bottle. An unclear, orange-colored beer topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma is sugary and fruity, with a grassy, resiny touch. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, with grass, fruityness and some resins. Quite a lot of white sugar, but it ain’t very sweet. Full body with some warmth. Lasting finish with white sugar and fruityness. Quite pleasant this one, but a tad too much white sugar. 141228

500ml design bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Foamy white head to a cloudy apricot coloured body. Dusty hops on the nose added by sweet fruits. Taste of apricot, Belgian yeast and juicy malts. Mid-sweet fruity finish with noticeable alcohol. Accepted, not more (Shared with djoeye, Tromsø 05.12.2014).

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Dorée/orangée, col crémeux blanc cassé. Arôme offre un bouquet typiquement belge dans la levure. Le tout offre des effluves esters ponctuées par qcq notes fruitées noires. En rétro-nasal, je note une pointe d’amertume houblonnée voire fleuri. Palais garde la constance sur une signature de levure, fruité noir rappelant la prune, figue et date. Ester moyen pour une belle rondeur de fin de bouche presque mielleuse. Malt de caractère pils, pâle et crystal dark.

Stylish 500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 8.5%, IBU 23, OG 1072. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of ripe and over-ripe fruits, syrup and mild spices. Sweet and syrupy flavour (too sweet), notes of mild spices, moderate hops in the finish.

Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tykt hvitt skum. Søtlig duft av frukter. Frisk smak av søtlige frukter. Prøves gjerne igjen.

Flaske 500 ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Delt med djoeye på Nerstranda 16 Aug 14. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt tett skum. Forsiktig krydderaroma. Smaken er plommer. Søt. Holder seg slik og blir monoton. Veldig uklar siste kvelling og litt sedimenter igjen på flaska.
