Bottle from Beerwulf. Pours a slightly murky mahogany colour with a medium sized thick throthy beige head. Nice lacing. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, toffee, brown bread and burnt brown sugar. Taste is more of the same notes with some spice, plums and a very slight bitterness on the palate at the finish. Light to medium bodied with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Roasted malt and liquorice in teh aroma. Sweet taste with liquorice, raisin and a bit of roasted malt. Hoppy bittersweet finish. Very nice abbey ale, not too complex but highly drinkable.
