Bottle, courtesy of DerA through Toni Fl�kiger, many thanks! Pours darkest brown with a slightly beige head. Aroma is chocolate, maple syrup, dust, a bit of pepper, coffee. Body is heavy, sweet, strong, roasted, burnt, and with a clear and super harmonic maple syrup. Not sticky at all! Great balance. And adjunct impy stout of 5 years which held up beautifully. Great beer!

Pitch black color, well carbonated, with generous but not persistent brown head. The aroma is not only roasted malt and coffee, but also caramel, fudge, wood. Full bodied, round; there is a good balance of flavors: roasted malt, dark chocolate, liquorice; it has a moderate and very pleasant sweetness; the treacle and maple syrup can be perceived in the end; warming alcohol feeling, never boozy.
Excellent, not tiring (extra point).
