De Prael’s German-style session beer. This bitter blonde is a neutral yet firm, structured beer. The use of Tettnang hops gives this hoppy, bitter brew a light citrus taste in the finish.

Draft - Grainy pale malts. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Touch of citrus and some light grains. Not bad.

Mild würziger Beginn. Trocken hefig, ab dem Mittelteil süßlich hopfig. Spritzig, steigende Intensität. Süffig, rund, mittellanger Nachhall. Okay. 10/8/10/10/8/10

Bottle. (thanks Jonas) Hazy golden with a medium white head. On the sweet side with grass, bread, citrus. Fairly soft and easy to drink.

Keg at SBWF. Hazy golden, small head. Rich peachy nose. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with peach, grass and marzipan, some elderflowers. Mid bitter finish. Would have guessed belgian blond, not kölsch.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Albert Heijn. Light golden with a white head. Malty faint hoppy aroma. Taste is bitter, as expected but not that bitter. Maybe I was not receptive to it’s nuances but I found it to be a bit boring and bland. Not bad but not very good or exciting.

F: big, white, good retention. C: yellow to gold, hazy, non-transparent. A: malty, fruity, peach, tangerine, sweet molasses, lemon, sea water, hay, light yeast. T: malty, lemon peels, tangerine, grassy bitterness on the palate, light salty, herbal, medium body, lively carbonation, I don´t know much about this style, but decent good and refreshing beer, 0,33l bottle from AH supermarket in Amsterdam.
