Een blond bier met een mooie combinatie van frisse, fruitige smaken, uitnodigend bitter en met tonen van lychee en citrus. Door het voorzichtige gebruik van Amerikaanse hopsoorten en een verfijnde nagisting achteraf uitermate geschikt als dorstlesser of als begeleider van een maaltijd. Pandora is ons bekendste bier. De drie oprichters van Brouwerij Maximus waren in 2005 al op zoek naar een bier dat niet te zwaar in alcohol is, makkelijk drinkt, waarbij door een medium koolzuurgehalte de smaak beter tot zijn recht komt. Dit heeft geresulteerd in een Dutch Pale Ale die ook bij het derde glas nog steeds verrassend is. Winnaar Zilver op de Dutch Beer Challenge 2019 in de hoofdcategorie Blond.

It is a honest pale ale, expecting more aromas, a bit more hop and malt, bitter and citrus, a bit watery, 13.10.2019, drinking it at Epalinges, without stress at home

Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and malts. I enjoyed their "High Hops" a bit better, but this is a very refreshing IPA.

Tap at Utrecht Bierfestival: I drunk this beer just an month ago, cloudy coloured brew with some American hoppy taste.

330ml bottle at Cafe Olivier, Utrecht. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, earthy mineral, metallic hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not exactly impressed.

Keg at taphuys utrecht. Pours golden, nose is caramel, veg, floral, taste is sweet, floral, thin.

Bottle in a sunny terrace in Utrecht, 24th March 2022. Pours clear. Aroma is weak, light aromatic. Taste is a little non comital, little citrus and aromatic. Fine

33cl bottle from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Netherlands. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: orange gold, hazy. A: malty, light citrus, herbal touch, bit orange. T: medium malty base, light bready, tangerines, caramel touch, grapes, medium carbonation, ok for the style, enjoyed but still nothing memorable here.

Flesje gedeeld met familie. Goudgeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Aroma is hoppig, smaak is zoet en hoppig. De nasmaak is iets bitter en heeft iets pittigs.
