Golden Ale is the first beer we ever brewed. We were inspired coming back from a trip to UK. This was back in 2004. During the first year of production we changed the recipe quite a lot. Today it’s one of the most popular Ales in Sweden. We think it’s the perfect pub beer but it goes well to many different dishes as well. Golden Ale is characterised by a clean malt flavour, medium body and medium bitterness. The two different hop varieties contribute with earthy notes with a hint of honey and citrus

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and flowers with a citrus note. Bitter, hoppy flavour with touches of citrus and a subtle fruity mote. Dry aftertaste. OK, definitely.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Rune@Rating Session 26.Oct.2011.Clear amber body, big foamy head and beautiful lacing. Flowerbed, dried fruit, apricot, birch, malt, carrot and ginger. Well balanced and pleasant. Groovy 70’s design.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours clear light yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, citrus. Flavor is malt, light caramel, fruity, citrus. Medium body, soft carbonation, nice bitter finish. 160113

[Thanks to Cunningham]. 33cl bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head, medium lasting. Aroma is grassy, herbal and slightly hoppy. Flavor has a moderate bitterness, malty and with a dry final. Carbonation and body are medium.

Bottle: Deep golden with a small and stable off-white head, moderate to solid dry grapefruity-hoppy nose, sweet bisquity malt underneath, dry - but not bone-dry - bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bldied; lingering dry fruity-hoppy finish. Very nice brew…

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Mildly cara-malty and minimally bready aroma with notes of citric and slightly herbal hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Moderately cara-malty and slightly bready taste, accompanied by fruity and mildly herbal hops, leading into a dry-ish bitter-sweet finish. 14.VII.12
