Kronenbourg 1664 is the most sold French beer in the world and the market leader for high-end premium beers. It was named after the year the Hatt family, the founders of Kronenbourg, first started commercial brewing. Kronenbourg is the fifth oldest beer brand in the world that still exists today.
Its golden hues and delicate bitterness come from selecting the best hops, the 'Strisselspalt', and the unique know-how of Kronenbourg’s master brewers for over 300 years.

Light blond and very see through, white head with high carbonation. Aroma slightly floral and a bit boozy, possibly chemical smell. Doesn't really taste of much. One of my preferred mainstream lagers, but that doesn't say much, and a few pints of this will give you a stinking hangover in the morning.

Can, on board Eurostar London-Brussels. Sweetish and grainy with apple. Hardly any aftertaste, except metal and a vague skunky bitterness. My liver is really punished with this beer!

Draft at the University of Cambridge, UK. Pours classic gold with persistent white foam, medium grain. Aroma is plain sweet cereal. Body is kind of thin with moderate carbonation. Taste is generic sweet, pretty bad. Finish is insignificant.

11.2 oz bottle. Clean, classic Euro lager. Pleasant dough sweetness balanced by classic noble hops. Fresh and enjoyable.
