This extra porter is a pitch black beer with a long lasting, chestnut colored head. It has a roasted malt and licorice aroma with hints of ash and smoke, and a slightly sweet taste with notes of licorice and caramel with a sweet and bitter finish.

Delicious smell, very foamy head, comes out of the bottle non stop. Taste of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and some candisugar I think. Very full bodied. A tiny bit too sweet.

Flasche: Deep ruby-amber coloured, almost black, big and stable and lacy (leaving rings on the glass) tanned head; solid bitter-sweet nose with aromas of ashes, dried fruits and dry roasted malt; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, creamy MF; solid finish, featuring ashes, roasted malt, chocolate and dried fruits. Wow! What a delicious brew…

Roast malt aroma with well-hidden booze and some creamy chocolate. Leave is predominantly bitter with a touch of sweetness. Creamy texture, soft carbonation. Pours pitch black with good head and lacing. Nice all around. Bottle.

Bottle. Pours cloudy nearly black with creamy and stable tan head. Dark aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, and liquorice. Alcohol in the long nose. Dark bitter flavour of roasted malt, enriched by sweetish notes of caramel and dark chocolate, ending in bitter touches of liquorice and coffee. Good, creamy mouthfeel. Very well-balanced and really, really good. My rating #2007, to celebrate the year my cutest, loveliest, sweetest daughter was born. Skål, min lille Żuczek! :-)
