Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met mooie bruine schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van vanille, wat mokka en chocolade. Genieten van dit bier.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Diep donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van koffie, chocolade en karamel. Smaak van koffie en chocolade. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

355 ml bottle. Murky dark brown, beige fluffy head. Loads of coffee, dry citrus fruits, roasted burnt malts, licorice, cigar, cocoa, slightly metallic. Dry bitterness, slightly sweet. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. A very good Imperial Stout, very drinkable, balanced yet complex.

Brunsvart vätska med kaffefärgad grädde. Kakao, kaffe och mörk choklad i aromen. Kaffe och kakao återkommer i smaken men blandas även med lätt brända gummidäck. Värmande och medellång eftersmak.

Bottle brought back from the US as a Christmas gift. Black with a light-brown hd. Smooth textured with a very tasty mix of mostly coffee and some chocolate. There's a good gritty oatmeal roasted maltiness to the brew. Its strength is most evident in its nose.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20C/15B). Bottle 35.5 cl (Batch 06332 - BBF unknown - Bottle on 01.16.19). AROMA: medium-high coffee aroma with slight notes of chocolate and alcohol. APPEARANCE: very dark brown to black color and opaque. medium-low brown head with average retention. leg formation. TASTE: initial medium-high coffee flavor, followed by faint chocolate and slight roasted malt. medium-high bitterness with a coffee and slightly roasted finish. PALATE: medium-high body with medium carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a bit unbalanced imperial stout towards coffee.
