On tap at 1st Borefts BF 09. Murky red/brown colour, flat, no head. Sherbert and sweet fruits on aroma. Some carbonation in mouth. Slightly herby in the flavour. Bit of heat comes through. Sweetness/sherbert is quite attractive. Sweet candied fruits on the swallow. OK. Bit of herb on aroma. Urbain said that it was young and would improve in 3 months, so I am keeping the bottle I bought in the shop for after Christmas. 737314- 3.4/5.0 Re-rate bottle on 4 April Easter Sunday. Actually quite hoppy on the aroma with some lovely big malts as well. Lovely in the mouth. Some raisin and plums, grapes and a bit of spice. Finish has toffee, more deepish malts and more fruit. Excellent really. Definitely developed since first having it 6 months ago but still holds onto the drinkability.

Bottled @ BBF. Hazy redbrown color, medium head. Aroma of caramel malt, good bocky notes. Not as strong in taste as most of the other beers on the festival, but nicely balanced. Decent beer.

From bottle @ 1st BBF De Molen. Hint of smoke in the aroma. Malty with a hint of roast. Full bodied, roasty, slightly smoky flavor. Sweetish with cellar notes and butterscotch. Very nice!
