This Münstersch Altbier is brewed with aged hops, barley, wheat and spelt. It is aged for a minimum of 9 months in wooden barrels and referments in the bottle until the yeast says it is ready.

37.5cl bottle. Sourish fruity nose. The beer starts smooth and mild sourish. Fruity and dry, yeast, complex sourness with a smooth sour bitter aftertaste. Very nice and sessionable.

375ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Funky, minimally bretty, tart-ish, spicy aroma, a floral touch of grapesugar, powdered sugar, notes of white grapes, white wine, hints of oak. Taste is tart, mildly bretty, funky, fruity notes of white grapes, gooseberry, old lemon peel, hints of oak, a floral touch of grapesugar, powdered sugar. Very harmonious, mild and balanced.

Sample from bottle @ Antidoot opening. Hazy blond colour, white foam. Grainy with fruity funky brett notes, some cellar notes. Refreshing and tart. Nice!

F: medium, white, not long lasting. C: shiny milky blonde, hazy. A: bretty, fruity, Sulphur, horse blanket, peach, woody, basement, complex. T: light sour fruity, bretty, bit cheesy, woody, peach, very refreshing with great aroma, light to medium body, medium carbonation, fully enjoyed, sample bottle @ BXLBeerFest 2018 in Brussels.

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of yellow fruits, dry hops, grains, soft tart fruits. Taste of dry herbal yellow fruits, brett, grains. Interesting.

Thanks to the RB crew for sharing! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ BXLBeerFest 2018! Golden orange with no head. Nose is USa sour, puckering, funky plastic, sour peach & apricot,… Basic lemon plastic, USA sour, lacto, nice USA styled sour, white grape, puckering,… Soft carbonation.
