Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Etre. Pours mostly clear gold with a fleeting, foamy white head. This is gorgeous. Nice grassy aroma, some soft funk, lemon. Light sweet flavour with moderate acidity, some subtle grassy bitterness, straw, pale wood dryness, background funk. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Dry, super clean and quenching in the finish, further woody dryness, mellow lemon, cleansing acidity. Wow, this is beautiful. Superb balance.

Small, lightly yellowish head over finely carbonated pale golden beer. Sourish, barnyard, horseblanket nose. Definitely the first Alt tried smelling like a gueuze! Has a point of fruity sugars too. Sour, lactic acid, barnyard flavours, lemony, fruitacids, wheat. Very faint fruitsweet, most sugars probably eaten by the wild yeasts. Halfway between a Berliner Weisse and a gueuze. Light, acidthinning, obvious wheatslickness, good carbonation, refreshing. IS this typical Münsters' Alt? I wonder if Pinkus Müller would agree...

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Gialla acida, torbida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. Al naso note citriche, erbacee, di stalla, cuoio, quasi una geuze. In bocca è acida decisa, con spunto sorprendente, citrica e secca sul finale. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Che birra!

Lightly sour, little bit of lactic acid going on there. Something sweet too, balances it nicely. Very flavorful and easy stuff. Well made.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass light golden, small head. Starts fine sourish-woody, some interesting soft-malty notes in between, with a light sweetness. Finish again sour, woody, all in all well balanced. Wow!

37.5cl bottle. Sourish fruity nose. The beer starts smooth and mild sourish. Fruity and dry, yeast, complex sourness with a smooth sour bitter aftertaste. Very nice and sessionable.
