A clear pilsner that is easy to drink, with a pleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. Bavaria Premium is a clear light-coloured pilsner, brewed with barley malt, natural mineral water and hop. Refreshing, fruity and slightly hop-like, with a full flavour and beautifully balanced. An accessible pure pilsner, brewed with the best ingredients and natural mineral water from Bavaria's own spring.

Can. A dense, finger-thick white head forms over a clear golden colored body. The aroma has cooked vegetables, some pale malts and a touch of generic fruityness. Medium body, pretty dry, with a nice carbonation. Grainy, fruity flavor with some cooked vegetables and wet cardboard. A faint bitterness towards the end. Not very good this one. 140117

Can. (as Tesco Premium Lager, 5%) A clear, slightly pale golden beer topped by a small, white head. Grainy and malty on the nose, quite sweetish, with a touch of fruits. Malty-sweet, grainy and quite weak flavor with a quite pleasant bitterness. The bitterness is actually the best part of this beer, else itβs too grainy and sweet, also in the finish. Medium body. Decent, and sort of quenching even though itβs on the sweet side. Donβt see any reason to re-visit though. (081220)
