A clear pilsner that is easy to drink, with a pleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. Bavaria Premium is a clear light-coloured pilsner, brewed with barley malt, natural mineral water and hop. Refreshing, fruity and slightly hop-like, with a full flavour and beautifully balanced. An accessible pure pilsner, brewed with the best ingredients and natural mineral water from Bavaria's own spring.

This pils poured a clear amber colour with a bright white, frothy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include corn, sweet malt and metallic. First swig was very thin with flavours of corn and malt with a not bad hop flavour. Finish was lightly hoppy with corn and minimal bitterness lingering.

Clear blond beer, creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty hoppy smell, bit fruity, some banana, floral touch, sweet malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness up front, then lots of sweet malts, some banana, bread. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bit metallic, sweet, sugary, more banana.

Sampled from 0.33 l can from ’AH XL’ (Roermond), best before March 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Very faint, sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Quite sweet, malty and a bit grassy taste of grains and some straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy and a bit metallic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with medium sized white head. Poor retention and lacing. Malty sweet smell with a bit of caramel. Grains and corn as it warms up. Medium body, softly carbonated. Slightly thick texture, soft on the tongue. Typical bittersweet taste and aroma. Malts, grains, corn. Touch of caramel and herbs. Some metallic acidity as it warms up, better to drink this one cold. Regular finish, slightly bitter. Overall, average. Drinkable when cold.

0.25 l bottle from Konzum Radnička. Time to rate this. Clear pale golden, small lasting white head. Fake malty, corn, hay, very fake. Faint malty and some dryness. Light body, medium carbonation, very lousy abrupt finish. On the worse side of bad euro lagers.
