4oz pour at Maxβs Rare and Obscure Beer Week Part 4. Pours a transparent, bright almost neon orange with a thin, lacing white head. Smells like orange soda, candies, Popsicles, Sunkist. Flavor is exactly the same, lots of orange candy, sugary, soda pop, a little medicine, booze. Full bodied, sweet finish. Very one note.

Bottled. Slight hazy golden color, thick slight off-white head. Perfect appearance. Aroma is malty, grainy, some caramel, quite spicy like a true belgian triple. Soft hoppy, hint of mandarin. The sweet and spicy character of a triple comes out nicely. Bit sweet taste, spicy. Quite dry. Very spicy and bit peppery finish. Bit too peppery for me, and I like a triple to be a bit more sirupy and less dry. Aroma and appearance are fantastic, taste and finish decent.

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color and a two-finger white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a nice blend of fruity, peppery hops, white sugar, alcohol and pale malts. A nice spicy touch as well. Flavorwise itβs much the same, quite pleasant. Pleasant hoppyness in finish, some spiced and sweetish notes too. Full-bodied, quite dry. Well, a really nice tripel this one, having no problems cutting the fat of the slice of Chimay cheese I had with it. A tasteful combo. 110421

Bottle at CPK, thanks to Ken. Hazy, amber-gold pour with a white head. Yeasty nose, light glue, some spices and flowers, a bit of gum, banana and paint. Some booze. Nice flavor, bit of sweet malts, candi sugar, light bubblegum, yeast, faint bitterness. Full bodied, warm with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, modesly soapy with some gum, malts, candi sugar and floral hops. Nice beer.
