On tap. Slightly hazy deep golden with a dense off-white head. Fairly discreet aroma, a little fruity perhaps. Medium body, fruit, yeast and phenols - and some bittering hops. Fairly alcoholic finish. Not so grand really. 190610

(Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, 19 June 2010) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with toasty grain and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange, sweet solid malt and a slightly spicy finish. More than medium body, fairly sweet, rather low bitterness. Doesn’t really fit in to my usual picture of an abbey tripel, but it’s a nice beer.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of spices yeast, malt, caramel, and fruit, but a bit light. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, malt, yeast, over ripe fruits, and alcohol, leading to a spicy and bitter finish. The alcohol tickles the palate.

From tap at Mikkeller. Pours cloudy golden orange with a small, creamy and slight tan head. Aroma is caramelish, spiced, yeasty and somewhat malty. Distinct caramelish flavoured, light spiced touch and somewhat light phenolic yeasty towards a more dry finish. Slight bitterness and dry yeasty finish. Nice trippel.
