Blunda och känn den svarta sammeten smeka. De mörka maltsorterna har rundats av med några nävar havre. Galena, Hallertau Brewers Gold och Centennialhumle friskar upp och överraskar.
En ”Stout” är ju ”aldrig fel”, men Kal dricker den gärna till sina skaldjur.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black with a nice tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, quite sweet. The same in the taste, also som sweet chocolate. Very drinkable, soft and not heavy. A good "everyday" Stout.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice, chocolate and coffee. Long dry finish.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter very roasted flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. A little thin but nice.

Draught @ STBOWF. Stockholm Beer Festival 2008, Sweden.Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, cold coffee, seawater, prune acidic - sweet notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and salty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [270908]

Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter and roasted finish.

Draught@SBWF2008. Deep brown colour, no head. Aroma is coffee, hops and mild peat. Flavour is fruits, some slight sour yeastyness, mild coffeeish and chocolateish notes. Yet very balanced. Aftertaste is mainly coffee and wood. Nicely balanced and rather sweet in the finish.
