A special twist on the Finnish style Sahti, brewed at Nøgne Ø in cooperation between Dugges Brewery, Sweden, and Nøgne Ø of Norway. Brewed with rye and wheat, sea wormwood from the Swedish archipelago, juniper twigs from the Norwegian forests, honey from heather flowers in Telemark and three selected yeast strains from Belgium, Germany and Britain, and of course, some malt and hops too.

Cloudy golden color. Honey, herbaceous, sweet piney mouth. Very sweet mouth. It feels off balance, but lots going on.

[9/25/15] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Hazy orange. Spicy aroma with cardboard, honey, caramel. Sweetish flavor with malt, honey, spiciness, cardboard.

@Borefts 2015, Fles gedeeld door #Countbeer, bedankt ! schenkt amber/bruin met lichte kraag, Aroma van veel fruit, veenbessen, jeneverbes, erg kruidig. Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours dark brown with a small light brown head. Aroma of malt, ryebread, honey, craneberries. Flavor is light sweet, malty, bread, honey, craneberries, some alcohol. Full body, soft carbonation, warming alcoholic finish. 170310

Bottle, 11%. Clear amber with small light beige head. Aroma is malt, dusty, lacto, berries and baking yeast? Flavour is malt, fruit, berries, yeast, little lacto, little sour, medium sweet, little sour, fruit and a little bitter.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber and slightly hazy. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, malt, bread, cheese, fruits and hops. Full bodied.

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter salty flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Alcoholic. strange but interesting.
