bottle from Spar Wien-Hütteldorf. Hazy amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Grainy malty start, slightly chocolatey, shy hoppy hints and a touch of yeasty fruitiness.

Mooie bitterheid.

Bíglveršlusflaše (Děkují pěkné...): Cloudy, amber coloured with an orangey sheen, stable and lacy off-white head; moderate sweetish-bitter toasty-fruity nose with caramelly spots and a mild bitterness in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied and quite soft; slightly lingering sweet dark-malty finish with traces of cacao and a gentle balancing bitterness towards the very end. Nothing spectacular, but a well quaffable Zwickl...

Tap at Elferhaus. Dark orange, amber color with creamy white head. Aroma is bready, candied fruit, caramel, honey. Taste is more candied fruit, caramel, sweetish, honey again. Silky mouthfeel with a natural and fine-bubbled carbonation. Very interesting and nicely balanced at the same time - a surprising treat from this brewery!

Murky brown with medium beige head. Aroma is dish water, spicy chestnut, phenols, rotten peach, mold. Taste is more or less the same rotten peach with some bitter and sour stuff. Detestable.

Draught @ Zipfer Bierhaus, Salzburg. Pours cloudy full amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and touches of hops and caramel. Sweetish flavour of malt, with estery and grainy notes and touches of caramel. Bitter aftertaste with estery notes. Decent for the style and not bad as such.

Draught at Bieramt, Vienna.
Brownish, hazy body, with a big, rocky, light beige head, that leaves a lot of lacing.
Moderate aroma of bread, honey, roast, some grains, some hops.
Tastes of roast, bread, grains, some flowery hops and a very smooth honey like sweetness.
Medium to light, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium bitter and also sweet.

Really nice! Quaffable, smooth and well balanced. Definitely one of the best beers from this brewery.

Draught at Gösserbräu Graz (Neutorgasse 48). Poured a lovely dark amber/red/brown body. with a thick, slightly off white head that went away slowly. Malty nose, notes of orange, dust. Very light. Soft malty taste, notes of caramel and maybe orange. A bit yeasty. Unspectacular but quite balanced and drinkable. Stranger than the average Austrian beer.
